hello! it is me again.

it is con season again, first off. mike & i're at wondercon tomorrow through sunday, artists alley table 38. please come by if you're in the area! i have a brand new drawn essay, jewish memoir goes pow! zap! oy! which was created for the anthology the jewish graphic novel: critical approaches (of which i will also have a very limited amount to sell). it's my longest, most wordy, & most nudiful essay yet!

but just as excitingly, my improved website, in the works for the last two years, is finally up! take a good look around, cause almost every page is full of new stuff. i like it cause content is a lot easier to upload (leading to increasingly regular updates, hopefully), but especially cause paypal is now built in, making it a heck of a lot easier to buy all the books & t-shirts you ever wanted! oh, & while you're there, please do check out the new comix page, with excerpts from all the works.

in not quite as triumphal news, i'm halfway through final pencils on jobnik issue seven, yes, the first new jobnik story in over a year. i am excited, although as always, i'd feel better if i'd finished the freaking thing by now. ask & i promise to post a page monday, if anyone's still reading, & still cares.

what else? mmm... oh! i've been contributing irregularly & irrelevantly to noah berlatsky's snarky nominally-comics blog, the hooded utilitarian. i seem to have become the resident angry feminist, but we have fun.
